“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” Rajdhani is a Rajasthani restaurant that is well known for it’s traditional Rajasthani thali. Keeping up to their name, they serve authentic Rajasthani food that is fresh and served with lots of love. The unlimited thali consists of a welcome drink, 2 starters, 4 types of sabzi , 2 varieties of rice, 2 types of dal, 3 types of Indian breads, 3 sweet dishes and also some chaas. Menu changes everyday and till date I haven’t eaten any of their dishes twice (except the aamras). The food tastes highly authentic and rich, flavours are well balanced and just one serving of the entire thali makes you feel full. The variety of dishes just spoils you for choice. Their aamras is the best and is a must try (only available in the summers). Also their dal batti churma is something that you can’t really miss. The restaurant is spacious and brightly lit with a dedicated waiting area for customers. The ambience of this place is really cozy with some light Rajasthani folk music playing in the background. Quick service….food is served even before you can ask for it. Staff is extremely good…they treat you like a Rajasthani royal….they don’t hesitate to serve you and your wish is their command. It was really fascinating to see how they communicate with each other using sign language to maximize service and minimize the sound in the restaurant. A special mention to Mr. Jagjish for generously refilling our bowls with cold and fresh aamras. Parking is not really an issue… though you might have to walk for a bit till the restaurant after finding one.
