SURF N FRIES | JUMEIRAH BEACH ROAD

“There is no ‘WE’ in fries.” Surf ’N’ Fries is an American fast food restaurant serving some amazing combination of fries that are unique to them. Located on Jumeirah Beach road, their concept is totally amazing and new. Something that we haven’t tried before. The have got a wide range of options to choose from, catering to both vegetarians and non vegetarians. For those who want to have some fun and also stick to their fitness goals they have got some protein loaded combos which are super healthy and tasty. They also serve 31 different types of sauces which makes you spoilt for choice and allows you to customize your fries as per your taste. Surf ’N’ Fries isn’t just about fries they also have some amazing desserts which will make you drool and come back for more. So here is what we ordered …… Mozzarella Sticks - These sticks are super cheesy and crispy. Chilli Cheese Bites - Crispy ball stuffed with melted cheese and chilli pieces. Not too spicy though but worth a try. Nacho Fries - Hot fries served with sour cream, salsa sauce, guacamole and jalapenos. Really tasty and tangy but I felt it needed some cheese to complete it. Beef Bacon Jalapenos Fries - It was really yummy. But the quantity of the bacon can be increased a bit. Truffle Fries - The best dish on their menu. Hot fries with meted cheese garnished with truffle shavings. Truffle is not for everyone, it’s got a weird bitter taste and aroma, so order only if you have tried truffle before or can tolerate new tastes. Onion Coriander fries - This one is also good. Strong taste of onion, not my type tbh. But loved the aroma of the fresh coriander. Protein Loaded Combo - It was really tasty and so nutritious, loaded with lots of protein. Brownie Bites - Hard exterior and a soft interior. One bite and you are off to heaven. They are a combination of sweet and light served hot with some vanilla sauce. Funnel Fries - Covered with cinnamon and sugar, best for those who don’t want to gain calories by eating lots of chocolate. Milk and Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies - They are the best desserts here. Freshly baked hot cookies broken into bite sized pieces. They r soft and nice to chew with the chocolate chips melted and oozing out on every bite. The food is totally awesome. They have got so much variety to choose from. The quantity of the food is good and its quite filling as well. Although the prices may seem a little high but their combo meals are a value for money.Their service is also very good. Friendly and hardworking staff with warm smiles on their face. Super hygienic place. The place is very cool and funky. They have got swings inside the restaurant…reminded us of our childhood days. Space is a little less inside the restaurant but they have outdoor seating which is good. Parking is slightly an issue but the staff is helpful and they help you get a parking as soon as possible.
