DILLICIOUS THE FOOD CAPITAL | KARAMA, DUBAI

Dillious serves some yummy North indian food all the way from Delhi, Amritsar, Lucknow and Punjab. We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon to eat some desi lunch. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant. The interiors and the ambience reminded us of street side dhabas in India.

We started off with a VIRGIN KIWI MOJITO, STRAWBERRY MOJITO, PAV BHAJI, KEEMA PAV, PANI POORI AND TOMATO SHORBA. The mojitos were super refreshing. The pav bhaji, keema pav and pani puri reminded us of home. We loved the way the pani puri was served in a mini ferris wheel. We were not able to try the tomato shorba as it was served at the table despite several reminders.

We also ordered the following starters - KARARA BHATTI PANEER TIKKA, MELA SEEKH, LUCKNAWI RESHMI KABAB and NAWABI SEEKH. The starters were served on a sizzling dish. The aroma made us drool and each bite took us more and more closer to Delhi.

For the main course we tried their MALAI KOFTA KESARI, ACHARI GOSHT, JHEENGA MIRCH MASALA and DHABHA KI DAL. The dal was served in a mini pressure cooker and the achari gosht was served in a mini achar jar. Their serving style just took our heart away. The main course tasted fabulous.

Their biryanis are a must try. We had their PANEER TIKKA BIRYANI and MURGH TIKKA BIRYANI. Long grain basmati rice, perfectly flavoured masala, cooked to perfection. We were full but not satisfied.

We ended on a sweet note with with some yummy PAAN nad MANGOLICIOUS KULFI.

We had a really DESI and DILLICIOUS meal. We were amazed by their prices and quality of the food. Their service is really amazing and the staff is super friendly. We didn't feel like leaving this restaurant and we will surely come back for more
